November Demonstration - Kris Occhino - Watercolor.

 

 

Our November 11 meeting featured Kristina Occhino, an award winning artist and teacher. Kris is a much sought after instructor in watercolor and acrylics. She teaches painting in her Treetop studio in Attleboro.She chose a watercolor landscape for her demonstration to the Association members, and some of our guests.  Kris used color, light and detailed rendering as she developed her painting. Her running commentary provided instruction and reasoning as her work progressed. It was very plain to see why she is a respected teacher in the area. We had the opportunity to use our new overhead mirror that enables everyone to have a better view and allows the artist to keep face to face contact with their audience.
Kris generously donated her finished demo painting for a meeting ending raffle. Sue Dalton was thrilled to be the lucky winner of the beautiful landscape
